The PSD Student Advisory Council (StAC) gives students a meaningful voice in district-level decisions. During the 2025¨C26 school year, council members will meet monthly to share what¡¯s happening in their schools and provide insight on the student experience across ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
Students on StAC collaborate with one another and communicate directly with the PSD Board of Education, offering input on ¡°big picture¡± topics the board is considering¡ªsuch as mental health and belonging, syllabus feedback, and ways to improve communication between students and the district.
Participation on StAC is an opportunity for students to represent their peers, share their perspectives, and help shape the future of PSD.

As of the 2023-2024 school year, 33.3% of students across PSD qualified for free and reduced lunches. As a way to relieve some financial burden for families of student athletes, the PSD Student Advisory Council has designed an equipment swap. The PSD Equipment Swap was created to give equal opportunities to low-income students and anyone facing financial insecurity.
As students enter the athletic scene, it can burden families to pay for athletic fees, equipment costs, and potential transportation costs.
The PSD Equipment Swap is designed for any PSD student to receive free athletic equipment to support their sports career.
In order to receive equipment, a student needs to show up at the designation location (Fort Collins High School) in the allotted amount of time (look below).
