PSD - A Caring Community

Mission: Educate...Every Child, Every Day

Vision: ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ exists to support and inspire every child to think, to learn, to care, and to graduate prepared to be successful in a changing world.

With more than 28,000 students and 54 schools and five charter schools in Northern Colorado, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ may seem like a large district. At the heart of it though, we¡¯re really a community - caring partners to the families we serve. Learn more about us. >>

We¡¯re constantly innovating and improving to ensure our students have the best opportunities possible. Learn more on our ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and Academic Options web page. >>

Successes!

We are proud of our students. We are proud of our staff. And we are proud to be part of this strong, forward-moving community. PSD is a destination district, and together, we are ensuring all of our students are Future Ready.

  • Academic Excellence: PSD students outperform state and national peers on CMAS, PSAT, and SAT, standing 13 percentile points higher than the national average.

  • Record-High Graduation Rate: Our graduation rate has reached a record-high 87.3% and consistently bests the state average.
  • Nearly 1,000 more students are taking college courses this year compared to last, earning free or low-cost college credits while still in high school.
  • Career & Technical Education (CTE) enrollment has increased by 750 students in the last year, preparing students with real-world skills for in-demand careers.
  • PSD¡¯s English Language Learner (ELL) graduation rate has increased by 20% in just two years, ensuring more students have opportunities for success after high school.
