All ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ schools will participate in Lockdown Drill Week between Nov. 13 and 17 as part of the district¡¯s ongoing safety and security efforts.?PSD follows national best practices so that drills are conducted in a manner that¡¯s age appropriate and considers the impact of trauma.
It was the perfect weather for River Week. Along the Cache la Poudre River, the trees began to change colors from green to a soft golden, and a crisp, endless blue sky stretched out above without a single cloud. On one of the days, a bald eagle even sat observing from the trees as students worked on their assignments.
Each year, student ambassadors and peers from high schools districtwide come together for the Peer Summit, a day of training, fellowship and fun.

Wherever they go in PSD, students and adults alike should feel safe and able to show up as the unique and valued people that they are.
The City of Fort Collins, Poudre River Public Library District, and ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ (PSD) are proud to announce a commitment among the three organizations to open a new community innovation center in southeast Fort Collins.
The southeast community innovation center, which was promised to the voters in 2015, will feature a state-of-the-art public library, multi-use spaces, as well as recreation and aquatics facilities. The center will be built on the 10 acres of land that PSD owns adjacent to Fossil Ridge High School.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ runs 73 facilities, including schools, program sites, office buildings, and athletic facilities. PSD values being a responsible steward of its sites and the public dollars that fund them. In keeping with that value, the district set out to discover new ways to operate each building as efficiently as possible and hired an independent third-party firm through a competitive process.
