ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and staff across ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ are being recognized for their dedication to education with the Colorado Department of Education¡¯s School and District Awards. 

This year, 14 PSD schools were recognized with annual CDE awards. Awards and winners from PSD include: 

Kathy Sampson Named as Next Principal of Lincoln Middle School

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ is excited to announce that Kathy Sampson has been selected as the next principal of Lincoln Middle School, beginning in the 2026-27 school year. Sampson brings nearly two decades of experience in education and a deep personal connection to Lincoln, having served as its assistant principal and previously as a math teacher.

Garcia brings more than a decade of experience in education and is eager to build a strong relationship with her students and staff in and out of the classroom.

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ students continue to showcase their intellect this year with another team winning a statewide science competition as Preston Middle School brings home the school¡¯s 15th state Science Olympiad Championship. This win comes just one year after the team narrowly lost last year by just three points.

Fossil Ridge High School Wins Regional Science Bowl CompetitionÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ students are always working hard to flex their mental muscles, and that was on display last month when Fossil Ridge High School students won the regional 2026 National Science Bowl. This is the fifth time in six years that the Fossil Ridge team has taken home the regional championship.
