Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School girls cross country didn¡¯t just bring back a state championship with their win in late October, they made history as the first girls team in school history to earn a state championship.

Last year, a controversial late-game call stopped the Wellington Middle-High School football team from claiming the Colorado 2A championship. This year, the Eagles couldn¡¯t be stopped! WMHS earned the state title with a dominant win over Elizabeth High School.
At the Nov. 18, 2025 Board of Education meeting, the Calendar Committee co-chairs shared the first reading of the proposed school calendar for the 2026-27 academic year. The Board will consider the calendar for approval at its December meeting.

The Timnath High School girls¡¯ cross country team has etched their name into Colorado history once again, winning the Class 4A State Championship for the second year in a row. Competing in Colorado Springs this November, the team claimed the title with 107 points, showcasing their depth and resilience. Guided by Head Coach Matt Miltenberg, the squad repeated their 2024 championship run with another all-team effort in 2025, proving that every runner mattered in bringing home back-to-back state titles.

The Fossil Ridge High School Marching Band has once again proven its dominance, capturing the Colorado Class 5A State Championship for the fourth consecutive year in a stunning performance at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Scoring 89.550 and sweeping every judged category¡ªmusic, visual, and general effect¡ªthe SaberCats outperformed the competition by 1.1 points. This victory marks their eighth state title in just 14 years, solidifying Fossil Ridge as a true powerhouse in Colorado marching band history.
Larimer County approved more than just improvements to ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ buildings when they passed the 2024 mill levy. They also made a direct contribution in classrooms. This includes art classrooms, where funds will create a stronger sense of equity for all students while providing the best equipment for artistic expression.
